Michael C. Allen, CPA, graduated from Pace University
in 1982 with a B.B.A. Degree in Accounting and then went on to receive
his Public Accounting experience at the medium sized firm of Miller,
Ellin & Company, CPA's. While there, he obtained his Masters
Degree in Taxation and eventually became a Senior Accountant in
the tax department gaining valuable experience and working closely
with individuals and closely held corporations.
At 26, he left the public accounting arena for several
years to become a controller at a medium sized insurance firm.
There he picked up many insights in managing a company and helping
it grow to 10 million dollars in sales within a 3 year period.
After a short stay in the private corporate world,
Michael went on to open his own accounting firm in March of 1989.
From 1989 to date, Michael has developed an area
of expertise in Estate and Trust tax preparation and planning
and heads that department for the firm.
In addition to managing the practice, Michael is
an Adjunct Professor at Queens College Law School and continues
to be very active in individual and corporate tax planning and
financial and estate tax planning and continues to be an authoritive
lecturer on these topics.
